What is it:
Towards mid-August, Salou Town Hall organizes the 'Nits Daurades', a festivity that coincides with the climax of the tourist season and its biggest event it’s celebrated the day of Santa Maria del Mar, patron saint of Salou, on August 15th. This day is also the last day of this amazing festivity, and its closed with the procession of the Virgin, where the Society of Fishermen of Santa Maria del Mar de Salou participates, culminating in a spectacular firework display.
This festive program is characterized by bringing together a wide variety of different events, from the celebration of concerts, dances, cultural events and other shows. The purpose of this program is that both local people and visitors to the municipality in these dates interact with each other and feel involved in the popular culture of Salou.
