SALOU, SPORTS TOURISM DESTINATION
Every year, the Nautical Club of Salou organises the November Halloween Regatta Race for Laser Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 classes.
Also, the Salou Nautical Club and the Santa Ponça Club organise the Rey Jaume Regatta, which is part of the Spanish Cruceros de Altura Championship that takes place every September. The boats race the 110-mile route that separates the municipalities of Salou and Santa Ponça, recreating Rey Jaume I’s travels to start the invasion of the Majorcan coast.
