Thirty-four travel agents working at TTOO and ITAKA in Poland have visited Salou during a promotional campaign, which is being done at Costa Brava and Costa Daurada. While they were staying at the capital of Costa Daurada, the Polish travel agents learnt the characteristics of the nine beaches that Salou offers, as well as discovering  the wide offer of accommodation, leisure, culture, gastronomy and rest of the town. In fact, Polish customers are eager to enjoy such kind of destinations that have a rich proposal of sun and beach.

Nowadays, Barcelona airport receives two direct flights from the Polish touroperators TTOO and ITAKA. The idea of carrying out this promotional job with the Polish market is addressed to attract this emerging market, which is seeking places on the coast where tourists could spend more than four days in hotels of medium category.

The Salou Board of Tourism is constantly working in the promotion of the destination, emphasizing the opening of new markets which are interested in the wide offer and their work is complemented by promotional actions that are carried out by Port Aventura and the business sector of Salou.
