Mission, Vision & Objectives

The Salou Municipal Tourist Board is en entity with public and private participation that works with the aim of promoting Salou as the leading tourist destination on the Costa Daurada. The purpose of the Salou Municipal Tourist Board is to promote activities aimed at benefitting the increase and quality of the tourist offering of this Costa Daurada destination. This is why the Board ensures and supervises that the active presence of Salou is promoted on the tourist market. The Salou Municipal Tourist Board also works to provide support for the city’s private initiatives, to make the destination’s structures and services keep growing.

The Salou Municipal Tourist Board promotes the conducting of surveys evaluating the destination. The results of the study are tools that let quality be assessed and, in parallel, let new strategies and actions be diagnosed with the purpose of guaranteeing constant improvement.

The Board of Directors is the main management body of the Salou Municipal Tourist Board. All political groups at the Salou City Council are represented, as well as the members of the municipality’s tourist associations and PortAventura.
