SALOU, SPORTS TOURISM DESTINATION
The Mare Nostrum Cup is the iconic football tournament that takes place during April at the Futbol Salou Sports Center. Teams from all over the world and a large number of participants play, making this sports tournament one of the most significant football events on the Costa Daurada.
The participants, formed by teams of 7 in categories ranging from 8 to 12 years old, and by teams of 11 in categories ranging from 12 to 18 years old, play more than 400 matches during the tournament.
