* PROTOCOL IN CASE OF INFECTION *

 - Any person with Covid-19 symptoms will have to remain in their room/apartment/bungalow/tent and call 061 immediately in order to know how to proceed.

- Any person testing positive for Covid-19 will be trasferred to a hospital or an isolation hotel by the health authorities so as to proceed with their treatment, which will always be carried out outside the place where they are staying.

- Those people in contact with a person infected with Covid-19 during their holidays will probably be asked to quarantine for 10 days by the health authorities. The quarantine will be carried out in an isolation hotel.

- All establishments will have to inform their guests who test positive after a PCR or an antigen test that they will be transferred to an isolation hotel.

- The establishment will have to contact the isolation hotel to see if there are any rooms available, and it will also have to arrange for a taxi which is to be paid by the guest, since the use of public transport is not allowed under these circumstances.

- Any infected person staying in a tourist appartment will be allowed to quarantine there, but any extension of their stay will be on them. In case they had to leave the appartment due to a previous booking for those extra days, the infected person may be transferred to an  isolation hotel.

- If the infected person leaves the accommodation without explanation and without informing about their current location, the owners of the accomodation will have to report it to the Catalan regional police (Mossos d’Esquadra) as well as to the regional social agents and surveillance SUVEC services.

- Stays in the isolation hotels will be paid for by The Direcció General de Turisme de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
