Shopping area in Salou
The commercial area of Salou is divided into 3 main areas: Zona Centre, Zona Llevant and Zona Est.
The Zona Centre (C. Barcelona, Via Roma and surroundings) includes a wide variety of shops that are open all year round, from small shops to well-known brands. We encourage you to stroll through the lively pedestrian streets of the Old Town (C. Ponent, C. València and surroundings) where you will find everything you are looking for.
We recommend a visit to the Municipal Market (open from Monday to Saturday mornings, and in summer it is also open in the afternoons) with around twenty stalls and with products of basic necessity: fresh fruit and vegetables, butchers, fishmongers and select gastronomic products. All of them make up a wide variety that guarantees the ideal purchase for everyone.
On Monday mornings, around Passeig 30 d'Octubre, there is a weekly street market (9am to 2pm) offering shoppers clothing, household goods and all kinds of accessories. Without a doubt, it is the best way to take advantage of the best offers and get to know the culture and people of the municipality.
The Zona Llevant is the best known and busiest area during the season, especially in summer. Paseo Jaume I is an ideal place for strolling, both during the day and at night. It also offers a wide range of shopping, gastronomy and leisure activities for the whole family.
The Zona Est is the most touristy area (Av. Carles Buïgas, C. Saragossa and the surrounding area) and during the summer season there are shops and restaurants.
During the summer months, don't miss the Espigon Market located in the Port.
Don't forget to buy a souvenir as a souvenir of your stay in Salou!
